Pick the Path creates bedtime stories for children. It is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for the account and for what is entered into it.

Without an account you can create one story. Creating a free account starts a free trial: up to 3 new stories a night for 7 nights, with no card needed. After the trial, making new stories needs a subscription.

Stories you have already made can always be read again, free, whether you subscribe or not.

Subscriptions are not on sale yet. When they are, the terms below apply.

The subscription costs A$9.99 a month, including GST, and renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Subscribe page. You keep the subscription until the end of the month you have paid for, and nothing further is charged.

On our website you pay through Stripe. In our Android app you pay through Google Play, the price is the one Google Play shows you, and you cancel through Google Play — the Subscribe page links you there. A subscription bought in either place works in both.

If a monthly payment fails, you keep the subscription for up to 7 days while the payment is tried again. Deleting your account cancels your subscription.

It includes up to 3 new stories a night, and Endless: one story that carries on across many nights and remembers what your child chose.

Endless includes up to 300 new scenes a month. A “Last time” recap that has something new to summarise uses one of them. If you reach the limit, the story comes to rest at a calm point and carries on when the next month starts.

If a subscription ends, every story already made stays free to read. An Endless story rests where it stopped, and carries on if you subscribe again.

Every story is written by an AI model at the moment you ask for it. That means no two are identical, and we cannot guarantee in advance exactly what any story will say.

Each scene is checked against our safety rules before it is shown, and anything that fails is replaced. No automated check is perfect, so please read along with your child, and tell us if something is wrong.

The flag at the top of every story lets you report any part of it to us without leaving the app. A person reads every report.

So that an Endless story can carry on another night, the app keeps a short written summary of what has happened in it so far.

If you use the Custom theme or invent your own characters, you provide those words. Do not enter anything you would not want a child to read back to you, and do not enter personal details about other people.

The stories created for your child are yours to keep, read and share. We claim no ownership of them.

This is a young product and may change, break, or be unavailable at times. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
